We're looking forward to continued success and growth in the coming season, and the seasons to come. As we're sure you know, this kind of success and growth doesn't come without a lot of hard work.
The chorus learns and performs three distinct concert sets of music, all of which are memorized. As a member of Caballeros, you'd be required to attend rehearsals every Tuesday night from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, as well as two to three all-day rehearsals prior to each concert. You'd also be expected to attend at least one sectional rehearsal during each rehearsal session. In addition, there may be additional performances during any or all of the three concert sessions in which you'd be expected to participate.
We know that many of our Caballeros singers are still employed full-time, and we always give that due consideration in scheduling performances and rehearsals.
We offer a number of tools to help you learn your music and memorize the words. In addition to the Caballeros sectional rehearsals (which are not mandatory, but are a strongly recommended learning tool), we provide learning CDs at the beginning of each rehearsal session. They can be an invaluable tool for learning the music as you drive to work or relax at home.
Singing in the Caballeros is a a big commitment, but you'll have a great deal of fun and you'll make many new friends. It's a very satisfying experience.
